Using traditional and innovative techniques we meticulously turn our original illustrations and designs into unique marquetry inlays for our solid wood boxes.

Our handmade boxes are made from hardwoods from sustainable, carefully managed forests. These hardwoods are selected for their beauty, stability and durability.

Our aim is to ensure that our raw materials come from healthy woodlands that are not only carefully managed, but improved for future generations, who will also get to enjoy this handcrafted heirloom.

To obtain the luxurious finish, we only use oils and waxes that are from natural sources.

George Brain is a 2nd generation woodworker with a lifetime of handwork experience creating fine wooden objects in a variety of fields.

We are very passionate about our unique marquetry boxes and our desire is to create a treasure chest that is not only exquisite and distinctive, but highly functional and practical.

Our inspiration is all around us – the natural beauty of the emerald isle, the wildlife and landscapes that connect us to this glorious environment are portrayed in our designs.

We endeavour to protect our planet and make ethically responsible choices daily, by using local businesses and, to reduce waste, we recycle and repurpose as much as possible. Our packaging is biodegradable, eco-friendly and recyclable in our effort to minimise the impact on our environment.
